Be specific. Reference the actual content — a section, a decision, a detail — instead of general reactions.
Disagree with reasoning. Say why something doesn't work for you and suggest an alternative.
Suggest a fix, not just a flaw. If something's off, point toward a direction to improve it — even a rough one.
Skip the shallow praise. "Nice work" doesn't help anyone. Point to what actually works and why it does.
